Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Biomedical Science

Dr. Katty Wadda

University of Cambridge & St George’s University of London

Dr. Wadda’s research focuses on immunology, molecular biology, and translational medicine. She has conducted significant work on malaria immunology, host-parasite interactions, and immune cell phenotyping in disease, with applications in chronic inflammatory diseases.  

Dr. Mohammad Konain Ehsan

NHS Scotland Specialty Doctor, University of Aberdeen & MRCGP AKT qualification

Dr. Ehsan’s experience spans frontline clinical medicine, simulation-based education, entrepreneurship, research, and medical AI, including roles as Founding Clinical Director of Pro-Med Simulation, CEO of Medic Mentor and MedSummit, and Medical Domain Lead on an international AI evaluation project.

Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence

Dr. Sanaa Hamid Mohamed

Kings College London

Dr. Mohamed is a Research Associate in the Department of Engineering, at King’s College London. Her research focuses on advancing the energy efficiency of future computing systems and communication networks, optimising data analytics and AI applications. 

Faculty of Law and Global Justice

Dr. Marcus De Matos

PhD in Law from Birkbeck, an MRes in Human Rights, and an LLB from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

Currently a Senior Lecturer in Law at Brunel University of London, Dr. De Matos is Principal Investigator on a British Academy–funded project examining protection policies for people under threat in Brazil and South Africa. His work is interdisciplinary, spanning human rights, comparative politics, and legal anthropology, with significant international grant funding success.

Michelle Quien

Cornell University & Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Michelle’s research experience includes working on quantum dot thin films with Prof. Tobias Hanrath at Cornell and her current PhD thesis on cutting-edge materials at the intersection of polymers and nanotechnology with Prof. Michael Strano at MIT. Since being at MIT, she has been a co-lecturer for a graduate-level solid-state physics and nanotechnology course. 

Mohamad Nour Nashed

Buckinghamshire New University

With a background spanning mechanical engineering, electronics, and smart textiles, Mohamad emphasises hands‑on problem solving. Mohamad is an Associate Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Buckinghamshire New University, teaching Thermodynamics, Thermofluids, EEE Fundamentals, and supervising engineering projects.

Professor Anna Chechel

University of Cambridge

Professor Chechel has over 20 years of professional experience and a leading expert in public policy, strategic leadership, and decision-making. She currently serves as a Visiting Academic at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

Dr. Pengzhan Qian

Royal Holloway, University of London

Dr. Qian’s background includes extensive industry experience in the pharmaceutical and green energy sectors. His work has been presented at major conferences such as the IAAE, RES, and EEA-ESEM, and he has served as a reviewer for Economic Modelling and the Eurasian Business Review.
