At Innovate, the welfare and care of every student is paramount. Our dedicated team is committed to providing personalised support and a nurturing environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and personally. 

Personalised Support

Each student is assigned a personal mentor who serves as a point of contact for academic guidance and personal support throughout the programme. Our mentors are trained to help students navigate their academic journey while also offering assistance with any personal or social concerns. 

Health and Safety

The health and safety of our students are top priorities. Our facilities are equipped with comprehensive medical resources, and qualified first-aid staff are on-site. We adhere to rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment, including regular safety drills and emergency response training for all staff. 

Individual Care Plans

We recognise that each student has unique needs and preferences. For those requiring special accommodations or additional support, we develop individualised care plans tailored to their specific requirements. These plans may include considerations for dietary needs, medical conditions, or any other personal needs, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience. 

Safe and Inclusive Environment

Our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment means that all students are respected and valued. We promote a culture of kindness and respect, and we have clear policies and procedures in place to address any concerns related to bullying or discrimination. 

Open Communication

We maintain open and transparent communication with both students and their families. Our approachable staff are always available to discuss any questions or concerns that may arise. 

Social and Recreational Activities

To support a balanced and enjoyable summer experience, we offer a variety of social and recreational activities. These activities are designed to foster friendships, encourage team-building, and provide relaxation and fun outside of academic sessions.

We are committed to continually enhancing our welfare and care services. Feedback from students and their families is actively sought and used to make improvements to our programmes and support systems, ensuring that we consistently meet the evolving needs of our students.

It is not only about providing University-level introductory lectures, but also about project based activities that encourage critical thinking and creativity. In addition, there are lectures about preparing for University education, and several campus and company visits. I highly suggest this school for prospective students.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter recently returned from the Innovate Summer Academy and had an incredible experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The quality of teaching was first-class. The lectures went into real depth, and small class sizes meant she got genuine one-to-one time with them to discuss her learning in more detail. This all came together in her Capstone project, where she applied what she'd learned in class and her industry visits, developed skills in critical thinking and problem-solving and presented confidently to a panel of experienced lecturers. She has since told me this experience has confirmed exactly what she wants to study at university next year and I’m delighted as before, she was a bit unsure.

Beyond the academics, the programme struck a brilliant balance. The timetable left space to explore London, bond with her group (she has so many amazing pictures and stories!), take in the city's cultural highlights, and go on industry visits that brought her classroom learning to life. She's made genuine friends who are planning to stay in touch and meet up next year and she’s left feeling motivated and ready for the next step in her academic journey.

Huge thanks to the whole Innovate team and a special shout out to Kevin, the programme lead, for creating a summer programme that balances academic rigour with a fantastic life experience, and Josh, who looked after the students so well day to day. Highly recommended without hesitation and thank you so much - my daughter will never forget her time with you all!

The classes in my faculty (engineering) were very interesting because they showed us how engineers think and approach problems. The talks held each day were inspiring, as they were given by speakers who had genuinely overcome significant challenges and achieved success.
